Improved workflow automation is an important feature built into the most recent update release of the Advent eLearning platform. It is built to streamline diversion and alternate sentencing programs. Institutions can now bundle any combination of Advent’s offerings into a customized ‘Curriculum’, assign curriculum to defendants via the ‘Application Portal’, and manage applications and diversion programs all within the Advent eLearning platform.
Institutions now have the option to build custom curriculum programs using any combination of products currently offered by Advent eLearning. This predefined curriculum can then be made available to students via a personal URL. A curriculum can include any combination of eLearning courses, external units, document uploads, program or application fee, monitoring units and more. Students can access an Agency’s curriculum by registering via the Agency’s custom URL. As with other AeL programs, the registration page can be configured with custom instructions for each Institution’s curriculum.
Allowing for the ability to customize your own curriculum is just one more way Advent eLearning is making it easier to manage your diversion or alternative sentencing programs. We’ve added the flexibility for your agency to remove unnecessary information and to present students with only what they need to fulfill their court ordered obligations streaming the process and eliminating possible points of confusion.
If you are an agency looking to refer students to courses or take advantage of the workflow automation Advent eLearning offers, contact us, we’d love to share more information. Today, over 300 criminal justice agencies across the US directly refer Advent eLearning courses to their eligible defendants or offenders. They choose to use our courses because they can effectively track and manage the processes associated with offering alternative programs.
